6-Week Course

 

This course will introduce you to concepts and ideas that will accompany the physical preparation in your fight camp.  In order to reap the most significant rewards and be open to learning new things, and let go of old chains, it is essential that you begin with a growth mindset.  This is a simple 10-minute/day, step-by-step program to develop mental toughness, overcome nerves, reduce stress, and, more importantly, learn to be present. You will learn how to develop states of flow, deal with weight cutting, and enjoy the process. Week 1 is available below for free and is a great way to develop a warrior mindset. Give yourself an advantage over your opponent; give yourself an advantage over your old self.

 

Day 1 - Growth Mindset

We introduce you to what a Growth Mindset is and why this is critical to developing your Mental toughness and being open to new ideas. We introduce you to step-by-step science-based Mindfulness exercises.

Day 2 - Technique

This is a deep dive into mind-strengthening techniques, including Mindfulness and Visualisation. We identify our ‘Anchor’ to return to the present moment.

Day 3- New Habits

How can we form new Habits, and how can we let go of old, unskillful Habits? We tune in to Dr. Andrew Huberman’s tips for Habit creation to prime us for the 6-week journey.


Day 4 - Dealing with Stress

Do you struggle to turn up and perform on the big stage? We review what causes stress and how to mitigate it. We also introduce you to relaxation techniques.

Day 5 - Confidence

How do we develop confidence, and what are the benefits of it to our mental and emotional well-being? WE dig into affirmations and visualisation techniques.

Day 6 - Body and Mind

Learning to understand the connection between the body and mind. We introduce the body scan technique and reinforce our mental push-up
